Green Key has recently begun to award hotels in Turkey. This is due to the effective and professional work of our National Operator, Türkiye Çevre Eğitim Vakfı (TÜRÇEV) Foundation For Environmental Education In Turkey.
The four new Green Key hotels are:
1-Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel, İstanbul
2-Radisson Blu Conference & Airport Hotel, İstanbul
3-Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Çeşme
4-Radisson Blu Hotel, Ankara
This is the beginning of a new and encouraging development of our eco certification scheme in a country that has huge potential for the programme.
We strongly believe that our environmental education values will benefit staff, management and tourists in these areas.
The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is a non-governmen, non-profit organisation promoting sustainable development through environmental education.
FEE is an international umbrella organisation with one national member organisation per country representing FEE on the national level and in charge of implementing FEE programmes nationally. FEE currently has 74 member organisations in 64 countries worldwide.
