New International Green Key Coordinator

The FEE Secretariat has employed Mr. Nicolas Dubrocard as new International Green Key Coordinator per 1 September 2011.

Around 110 applicants from more than 30 nationalities applied for the position as International Green Key Coordinator. After two rounds of job interviews has the FEE Secretariat employed Mr. Nicolas Dubrocard as the new International Green Key Coordinator.

Nicolas is a 41-year old French citizen who has worked with sustainable tourism issues over the past six years. Since October 2007 Nicolas has been director of a consultancy company in Morocco assisting Moroccan accommodations achieve the Green Key award. Nicolas has also been working for the English Travel Foundation (Every Drop Counts Programme in Marrakesh, Essaouira and Agadir), UNPD (sustainable development in oases) and is a Travelife auditor.

Nicolas’ employment from 1 September 2011 coincides with the International Green Key Coordination moving from FEE Netherlands to the FEE Secretariat.

The FEE Secretariat would like to thank Erik van Dijk and his team in FEE Netherlands for the work on coordinating the Green Key Programme internationally in the past 2½ years.
